Transparency in Every Thread: The "Non dye NATA" Story

At Little Natura, our "dye NATA" standard is our highest promise : a commitment to 100% nature-origin baby clothes. This means that for our garments, every pigment from the Maroon extracted from Indian Madder roots to the Blue from Asian Pigeonwings - comes entirely from the earth.

The Innovation of Natural Printing

We recently achieved a technical milestone: successfully using our plant-based dyes for baby clothes in modern rotary printing machines. This allows us to bring the beauty of nature to life through intricate patterns and designs.

However, nature’s chemistry works differently than synthetic alternatives. To ensure that pigments from sources like Yellow Elder flowers or Annatto seeds stay crisp and permanent on the fabric during the mechanical printing process, a "glue" is required.

Our Commitment to Honesty

While we searched for a 100% plant-based binder, we found that current options did not meet our high standards for durability in rotary printing.

To bring these printed collections to you, we made a conscious decision to use a GOTS-approved synthetic gum.

·  Safety First: Because it is GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) approved, this binder is rigorously tested to be non-toxic and completely safe for a newborn’s sensitive skin.

· A Different Category: Even though it is safe and industry-standard, this binder is not 100% natural. Following our internal policy of radical transparency, we feel these garments do not belong under our "dye NATA" label.

Introducing "Non dye NATA"

To help you make the most informed choice for your baby,

we have categorized these printed pieces as Non dye NATA.

While these garments still utilize our signature organic baby clothing colors- like Green from Bhringraj leaves or Grey from Tamarind Twigs charcoal - the use of a synthetic binder in the printing process sets them apart.

We believe that being "Mother Nature Approved" means more than just using organic materials; it means being honest when we must balance modern functionality with our botanical roots.
